The Boys love when we have pizza for a meal. Some of the students get the privilege of working in the kitchen, which means they get to help prepare the food and cook it. The next few pictures are some of the masterpieces that they make.
Veggie Pizza, It's actually really good.
Before and After!
Sausage and Mushroom. Mmmmm!!
Peperoni and Olives! Delicious.
A Little Bit of Everything!
And for all you moms out there. Yes, they have to eat their salad too!
The students usually don't take very long to devour all their food on Pizza day. Here are some photos of a few of them enjoying their meal.

Even the staff at DRA like Pizza Day!!
Final Result=Empty Plates
As the old saying goes, "The one way to a man's heart is through his stomach" and the boys sure love Pizza Day.

Mentors (Bigger and Better)

Mentors are Back!!

From left to right; Ryan, Anthony, Ethan, George, Jake, Tony, and Jon.
On Tuesday the 26th of January Ricky D, Travis B, and Brigham M had a meeting with these select boys and introduced them to the mentor dorm. The mentor group is a group of students that excel above and beyond the call of duty and are willing to help others. These students accepted the challenge and were so excited and honored to be on the mentor group.

We are looking forward to having these students be the example for the other students and for them to give that lending hand when needed. The motto for the mentors is;
Don't embarass Yourself
Don't embarass your Family Name
Don't embarass your Dorm

3D Movie!!!

The 3D experience was amazing!!!!

Yes, we know we look like the "Blues Brothers"!! The boys were awesome.
We took the students of the month to see Avatar and then went for some Hawaiian food.  The boys were so grateful and excited to be going to a 3-D movie.  It was a great event!

So you think you can sing?

For Judges we have (from right to left) Steve-NAPD and music enthusiast, Mason-our equivalent to Randy Jackson, and David-our kind hearted positive feedback judge.

And then we have Adam a.k.a. Ryan Seacrest
Markus was able to give us a few different varieties of music genres. He is skilled in both hip-hop and acapella.
Tyler gaves us his best shot for the tryouts.

Christain was too busy concentrating on impressing the judges to give us a good photo. But it looks like he will be going to the semifinals.

Jon was impressive and had his own lyrics.
We are excited to see who makes it to the finals and wins!!! Coming soon! The finals and the winners.

What is your favorite candy bar?

What is yours? Almost every student said reeses peanut butter cup.
Matt; Eat the edges all the way around and then eat the middle.
Wade; One bite at a time
Ethan; Break it in half then eat each piece in one bite.
Anthony; Eat the whole thing in one big bite.
Jacob; Try to eat the peanut butter first then the chocolate.

This is a game where you toss the ball from player to player and each player has a color coded wrist band and the ball can detect what wristband catches the ball so it takes some skill. The boys loved it and wanted to play forever!!

Its not as easy as it looks!! Ha HaWe had Wade and Jacob put on wristbands on each hand so it would be harder and they did really well. The high score was set by Brigham and his wife with 64 catches.
